Brooks Ghost 16 gtx

Brooks Ghost 16 gtx review: what runners say

Fit

Traditional, reliable fit with multiple width options. The GTX version has a snugger fit than the standard model, making a half-size increase advisable.

Feel

Balanced DNA LOFT v3 cushioning; stable and not overly soft. Provides a predictable, consistent ride typical of a daily trainer without aggressive rocker geometry.

Durability

RoadTack rubber outsole designed for high wear resistance over high mileage. Solid structure typical of the Ghost series.

Best for

Neutral daily road trainer. Ideal for those seeking reliable daily volume, runners who prefer a high drop (12mm), or those needing protection in adverse weather.

Weak points

Non-gusseted tongue, limited forefoot volume, and a stiff feel in the heel counter. Some testers report a tighter perceived fit compared to previous editions.
