Feel

ReactX delivers a soft, responsive platform with noticeable bounce over the previous React. 9.5 mm drop and rockered sole favor heel strikers.

Durability

Past 50 km with no functional wear signs. Upper and ATC rubber show good abrasion resistance, but light colorways pick up permanent staining quickly.

Best for

Road-to-trail shoe for mixed asphalt, dirt, and moderate single track. Not suited for technical trail with rocks, roots, heavy mud, or steep slippery surfaces.

Weak points

Grip inadequate on wet surfaces and technical terrain, well below Vibram Megagrip standard. Weight increased over the previous version; absence of a rock plate leaves the foot exposed on hard terrain.
