Feel

Medium cushioning with a dense, unresponsive feel. The new full-length Zoom Air unit eliminates the midfoot discomfort of the previous model but adds no perceptible response or bounce.

Durability

High-abrasion-resistant rubber outsole, rated 9/10 for durability. High expected mileage; reviewer tested up to 23 km with no structural issues.

Best for

Daily trainer for easy and recovery runs up to around 20 km. Suited for heel strikers. Not recommended for sustained paces, demanding long runs, or forefoot strikers.

Weak points

Heavy relative to direct competitors (292 g). ReactX foam is widely considered flat and lacking energy return; absence of forefoot rocker hinders transitions and faster paces.
