Fit

True to size with solid lockdown thanks to the sock-like construction and wraparound lacing system. The toe box is moderately roomy but tends to narrow on the sides: wide-footed runners should wait for the wide version.

Feel

Full-length ReactX with two Air Zoom pods delivers a more responsive ride than its predecessor but with a direct, high ground-feel sensation, especially in the forefoot. Some runners report the forefoot feels thin and undercushioned on efforts beyond an hour.

Durability

High-coverage waffle rubber outsole: estimated lifespan of 500–600 miles per sources. The rubber is hard and wear-resistant, with some reports of stud wear at the heel past 100 km.

Best for

Daily trainer for casual or beginner runners, easy runs up to 8–10 km, and mixed gym/city use. Not suited for workouts, tempo sessions, or racing: lacks the responsiveness and lightness that context demands.

Weak points
