Fit

Snugger than other Kailas models; initially tight, breaks in after a few kilometers. Lower-volume toebox, consistent with the sky race intent.

Feel

Meaningful cushioning via 35 mm at the heel; dual-density PEBA midsole with an orange zone for higher reactivity and a blue zone for lateral stability. Platform feel is wide and stable, not nimble.

Durability

Vibram Megagrip Light Base outsole. Sources suggest a per-outing ceiling of around 50 km before rotating to other models; overall total mileage data absent.

Best for

Skyrace and technical trail on rocky terrain, hard surfaces, steep gradients. Designed for down-and-up on mixed terrain and extreme conditions; available in a Gore-Tex version for variable weather.

Weak points

Feels heavy and flat to runners prioritizing pure lightness. The dual quick-lace system is perceived as too constrictive by some runners.
