Fit

True to standard Puma sizing. Not a particularly wide platform: not recommended for runners with a wide forefoot.

Feel

Single-piece Nitro foam midsole: controlled bounce, comfortable on soft terrain. The relative stiffness can register on uneven rock, where the absence of a rock plate is noticeable.

Best for

All-around trail shoe for mixed terrain: packed mud, dirt, grass, short stretches on asphalt. Suited to long distances and exploration runs. Less appropriate for technical rocky terrain or deep mud.

Weak points

Limited lateral flexibility on uneven ground; the high Nitro stack acts as a wedge rather than conforming to the terrain profile. On sharp rock, forefoot comfort is borderline without a rock plate.
