Fit

Runs small: half size up recommended. Medium-high volume in the midfoot, secure fit with the lacing system, heel with adequate padding.

Feel

Firm and responsive ride, neither as soft nor as stiff as previous On models. The bipronged Speedboard and pronounced rocker provide propulsion; CloudTec pods compress perceptibly, especially for heel or midfoot strikers.

Durability

Over 50 miles with no significant wear on the upper or outsole. MissionGrip compound shows lasting hold; sources do not indicate a precise mileage limit.

Best for

Road-to-trail shoe for short to medium runs up to a half marathon on packed dirt, grass, gravel, and asphalt. Not suitable for wet technical terrain, mud, ultras, or distances over 8-10 miles for forefoot strikers.

Weak points

Insufficient traction on wet, muddy, or icy surfaces. Thin, stiff tongue without padding causes pressure on the top of the foot after hours of use.
