Fit

Runs small: recommend going up a half size. Medium-to-high volume in the midfoot, secure fit with the lacing system, heel with adequate padding.

Feel

Firm and responsive ride, neither soft nor stiff like previous On models. The bipronged Speedboard and pronounced rocker deliver propulsion; the CloudTec pods compress noticeably, especially for heel or midfoot strikers.

Durability

Over 50 miles with no significant wear on upper or outsole. The MissionGrip compound holds up over time; sources do not indicate a precise mileage limit.

Best for

Road-to-trail shoe for short-to-medium outings up to half-marathon distance on packed dirt, grass, gravel, and pavement. Not suited for wet technical terrain, mud, ultras, or distances beyond 8–10 miles for forefoot strikers.

Weak points

Insufficient traction on wet, muddy, or icy surfaces. Thin, stiff tongue with no padding causes pressure on the top of the foot after hours of use.
