Fit

Exceptionally wide toe box (103 mm): feet splay without pressure. Runs large — sizing down half a size is recommended.

Feel

33 mm EGO Max midsole, true zero drop. The foam is firm, not soft: cushioning absorbs impact rather than returning energy. No notable energy return.

Durability

Vibram Mega Grip outsole holds up well — 500+ km expected. The exposed midsole in the midfoot zone is the weak point: vulnerable to rocks and sharp sticks, and prone to accelerated wear on technical terrain.

Best for

Zero-drop trail runner for groomed trails and long distances. Also works well as a hiking shoe. Not suited for technical, muddy, or rocky terrain.

Weak points

High weight (12.5–15.5 oz depending on size): the main drawback. Exposed midsole underfoot: reported cases of penetration by sharp objects.
