Fit

Standard Salomon fit with external Sensifit; foot feels well-wrapped without compression. The collar tends to open laterally with the Quicklace system, reducing hold on uneven terrain.

Feel

Medium cushioning with Infinifoam nitrogen-expanded TPU midsole: compact feel, not soft, with a degree of responsiveness. No extremes in either protection or energy return.

Durability

Construction materials oriented toward longevity: Matryx/Kevlar-reinforced upper, Contragrip outsole with 4.5 mm lug depth. Some testers report early fraying at the collar seams.

Best for

Mid-distance trail running on mixed, non-technical terrain, for a mid-weight runner seeking versatility. Not recommended for heavy mud, fast racing, or ultra distances.

Weak points

The Quicklace does not close the collar effectively: it opens laterally, allows debris entry, and reduces stability on descents. One tester reports a serious ankle sprain, likely related to the narrow heel shape.
