Salomon Aero Blaze 4

Salomon Aero Blaze 4 review: what runners say

Fit

Tendency toward a narrow fit, with reduced volume in both the heel and forefoot. Some runners report a slightly shorter-than-expected length and a tight arch.

Feel

Neutral ride, based on protective cushioning primarily in the heel. The optiFOAM 2 midsole offers a consistent sense of stability and comfort, but feels less responsive than performance models.

Durability

Reliable Contagrip outsole with reinforced rubber zones. Forefoot cushioning tends to degrade after extended use.

Best for

Daily trainer intended for everyday runs, moderate paces, and recovery sessions. Suitable for neutral runners who prioritize comfort over raw speed.

Weak points

Stability is limited for those requiring extra support; forefoot protection degrades over long distances; the rocker is not very impactful.
