Fit

True to size, neither narrow nor wide. The upper accommodates different foot shapes and the lacing system provides a secure lockdown.

Feel

ReactX midsole with a dry ride and clear ground feel. The heel is slightly softer than the Pegasus 40, but the forefoot feels firm due to the pressurized Air Zoom unit. Overall energy return is low.

Durability

Waffle outsole holds up well with limited wear at 150 km. Estimated lifespan of 600–700 km for runners up to 165 lbs. The dense, low-energy ReactX compound contributes to long-term durability.

Best for

Daily trainer for neutral runners, suited to easy runs and moderate paces. A good fit for beginners or those looking for an all-around shoe for gym and road use. Not suited for long distances or faster efforts.

Weak points

Forefoot perceived as too thin and firm across multiple sources. Grip on wet surfaces rated insufficient by one source, while another rates it excellent — a genuine disagreement on this point. Weight has increased compared to previous versions.
