Feel

Dual-layer ZoomX on top and Cushlon 3.0 below in a rocker construction: high, responsive cushioning with a mild rocker that works on both compact singletrack and moderately technical terrain.

Durability

Vibram Megagrip with 4.5 mm lugs: no significant wear signs at around 80 km on PCT, dirt, and pavement. Partial rubber coverage (approximately two-thirds) with no issues detected.

Best for

Long-distance trail and ultra, high-mileage blocks, varied terrain from compact to technical-rugged. Not optimized for those prioritizing light weight or fast race paces.

Weak points

High weight: 11.9 oz (US M10.5), above most competitors in the same stack category. One user reports the toe box as excessively wide for a normal-width foot.
