Fit

True to size for most foot shapes. The Mid version runs about a half size large. Medium width; wide feet may find the upper restrictive.

Feel

Lightweight EVA cushioning, ready out of the box with no break-in period. The 10mm drop encourages a natural stride on moderate terrain; the feel skews closer to trail runner than traditional hiking boot.

Durability

Mesh upper shows early wear according to some sources. Merrell sticky rubber outsole (4mm lugs) holds up well on abrasive surfaces, but no Vibram compound; expected lifespan is shorter than higher-tier models such as the Moab Speed 2.

Best for

Day hikes and trekking on moderate trails in dry or mixed conditions. Suited for those prioritizing low weight and agility; not recommended for heavy packs, technical terrain, or extended winter use.

Weak points
