Fit

True to size with a wide toebox that allows natural toe splay. Heel and midfoot run loose on some runners, with noticeable slippage on technical descents.

Feel

FloatPro EVA is medium-firm: solid protection without excessive give, feel closer to structured than soft cushioning. No rock plate: rocks are felt on rocky terrain.

Durability

After dozens of miles the Quantum Grip outsole maintains traction and the mesh upper shows no fraying. The sticky compound does wear down faster on hard surfaces.

Best for

Light trail, dirt, gravel, and road-to-trail transitions. Suited to daily-mileage runners and heel strikers on moderate terrain. Not recommended for technical terrain, deep mud, or alpine descents.

Weak points

Insufficient heel lockdown: the heel shifts on technical descents and the midfoot runs too wide even with laces cinched. The 8 mm drop feels too pronounced on steep terrain.
