Fit

Tends to run narrow in the toe box and midfoot: sizing up a half size is recommended, especially for ultra distances where the foot swells. The heel runs wide on some runners, with suboptimal heel lock.

Feel

Generous but not mushy cushioning: the FloatPro+ delivers a medium-to-firm ride with solid responsiveness thanks to the flex grooves. Pronounced rocker promotes smooth transitions and drives the stride forward.

Durability

Matryx upper with Kevlar and TPU overlays for high abrasion resistance. Vibram Megagrip outsole with 4 mm lugs. A documented pair with over 800 km still showed an intact midsole.

Best for

Trail shoe oriented toward long distances and ultras on mixed, runnable terrain: compacted trail, dirt, asphalt. Not ideal for tight technical terrain requiring precision or for runners seeking speed.

Weak points

Insufficient heel lock: the heel shifts on both climbs and descents despite tightened laces. Laces too short to reach the top eyelet. The midsole feels stiff statically, with some reports of the platform being too wide for technical terrain.
