Fit

Slightly wide in the forefoot and midfoot compared to standard Hoka sizing. True to size in most cases, but low-volume feet may find it lacking containment.

Feel

Maximal cushioning with medium-high density EVA: protective but not as plush as the stack height might suggest. Rocker is present but not aggressive; the ride is controlled and stable.

Durability

At 100 miles, outer midsole and outsole areas show wear without compromising structure. The volume of material ensures long lifespan; durability complaints on RunRepeat remain a minority.

Best for

Easy miles and recovery on mixed road-to-light-trail surfaces, long runs and ultras at conservative pace, hiking. Not suited for tempo work, tight rocky terrain, or fast technical descents.

Weak points

Weight (12.9 oz men's) limits versatility and makes any fast work impractical. The high collar can cause ankle irritation; the non-Vibram outsole loses grip on wet rock.
