Fit

Slim fit, true to size. Heel features two internal pads that provide adequate lockdown, but some runners report Achilles rubbing with low-cut socks.

Feel

Smooth, cushioned ride thanks to 36 mm of Ego Pro; rockered geometry promotes transition, but at easy paces propulsion feels less pronounced compared to top racers with PEBA foams.

Durability

Version 2: rubber outsole with estimated ~90% coverage, intact after 20 miles in testing. Version 1 had outsole degradation by 10 miles. Expected mileage lifespan not quantified by sources.

Best for

Zero-drop road racer for half marathon and marathon. Works for progressive long runs as well. Requires good ankle and calf mobility; not recommended for runners unaccustomed to zero drop.

Weak points

Tendency to rub the Achilles with low-cut socks; some reviewers report heel blisters with extended use. The $260 price point is considered excessive relative to the competition. Noticeably greater calf load compared to other racers.
