Fit

True to size; sizing up or down is not recommended. The FootShape toe box allows full toe splay; runners with a very narrow foot may find the midfoot area too roomy.

Feel

The dual-density P35X midsole delivers cushioning without excessive give: firmer outer layer, softer inner layer. The ride is smooth and connected to the ground; not a reactive or aggressive shoe.

Durability

Vibram XS Run AW outsole, approximately 20% more durable than the previous Altra compound. The P35X is expected to retain its characteristics beyond 300–400 km, a issue that affected the EGO Max in the Torin 7.

Best for

Neutral zero-drop daily trainer for easy runs, recovery, and long runs at a moderate pace. Also well suited for extended walking and everyday use. Not recommended for runners seeking a reactive feel or race pace.

Weak points

The tongue can fold on high-instep feet, requiring mid-run adjustments. Weight of around 280 g makes it less nimble compared to shoes with a comparable rocker geometry.
