Feel

EGO EVA midsole delivers a natural, ground-connected feel with medium cushioning that is surprisingly generous for the low 25 mm stack. No plate; flat and flexible ride.

Durability

Updated ripstop upper versus the previous model, expected to be more durable. The MaxTrac outsole shows wear around 100 km according to some sources; outsole considered the structural weak point.

Best for

Versatile trail shoe: performs on mixed terrain from moderate to technical, suited for distances up to 50M. Doubles as a casual/hybrid shoe thanks to the low profile and non-aggressive outsole.

Weak points

MaxTrac slips on wet surfaces and wears faster than competitors running Vibram. Some reports that the wide version's width is not perfectly calibrated.
