Standard FootShape fit: wide toe box for natural toe splay, midfoot more structured than Original FootShape models. Runners coming from Nike or ASICS will find the toe box generous, but it is not a wide shoe in the strict sense.

Feel

Balanced cushioning with EGO P35 foam: softer than previous Altra versions without feeling marshmallowy. Rocker geometry present but not aggressive; transition is smooth at easy paces, less effective as cadence increases.

Durability

Expected lifespan around 400 km. Rubber outsole with good coverage, suited for road and treadmill; not designed for technical trail.

Best for

Daily training at easy paces, walking, travel. A fit for runners who want the Altra toe box without going zero-drop. Not recommended for speed sessions or racing.
