Fit

The v2 corrects the sizing issues of the v1: true to size works for most. Accommodating forefoot without being wide; structured, secure heel.

Feel

Lightstrike Pro midsole with forked energy rods: dense and stable feel, more so than bouncy. Lateral rocker geometry recenters the stride; some runners don't perceive it as a true super shoe.

Durability

Continental outsole with 4 mm lugs on the v2 (3–3.5 mm on the v1). After 13–15 miles on mixed asphalt/trail, reported wear is minimal. Total expected mileage not documented in sources.

Best for

Trail racing from mid-distance to ultra on non-extreme terrain: flowing singletrack, fire road, UTMB-style courses in dry conditions. Not recommended for steep technical terrain or very wet/soft ground.

Weak points

Arch pressure reported on some feet after as little as 2 hours; the v1 had notable irritation at the heel collar and pinky toe, only partially resolved in the v2. Thin, unstructured tongue folds awkwardly when lacing up.
